FROM STREET 2 DEEN MY STORY!!!
I grew up in a poor part of southLondon, where most men get different women pregnant and run away 95% percent of the time, so my mother was forced to take responsibility for 2 roles. She was a caring mother but also had to be the father aswell and get two jobs to pay the rent and bills because my irresponsible father was not around!
So I was left at home while my mum was working hard and I was raised by TV and music, Hollywood, MTV and I saw all the bling bling, nice cars, the money, the boats, the houses, the women and all the rest and I wanted it all!
So I looked around my environment and surroundings and the people it looked like had money and material things where the crack, weed , heroin dealers and also the credit card fraudsters, armed robbers, burglars and gang members.
So I thought college and university looks like a waste of time, all the people going there are broke, so I linked up with a friend from secondary school that was already in a gang and started hanging around with him.
At that time my mum had also chucked me out because of my unruliness and bad behavior towards her and sometimes to my younger brother and younger sister.
I ended up for the next years of my life going in and out ofcourt probation, comunity service, police stations and jail and this became mylife!.
Until one day in jail when I was bored like every other day and I picked up a Quran and read it and one sentence hit me:
“Is there any one more misguided than the person who makes his desires his God.”
And for the first time I realized that money, girls and my desires were the false God’s that I worshipped and I was a 100% slave to them, without actually knowing it.
And the Quran helped me to realize, the people that I was following unconsciously religiously , were the rappers, actors and mcs these were my false prophets because I tried to act like them, look like them, dress like them , talk like them, dance like them, even think like them, in every single way.
And what really shocked me were the clubs, raves and parties I went to religiously on the weekend because my false prophets i.e. the rappers ordered me and told me thats where i have to be! and not just be there i have to be, smoking alot, drinkingalot , getting high alot , picking up girls alot, to prove my faith and they told me this in there sermons and preachings in there tapes and cds
and I came to realize i was extremely religious without knowing it!!!
And it took this book, the Quran, to let me know for one moment in my life that I was worshiping myself and money and not God who I should be worshipping.

Welcome...
to the Institute of the Language of the Quran, based in Toronto, Canada.
Why should I learn arabic?
As Muslims we have no choice but to learn the Language of the Qur’an.
Why?
BECAUSE ALLAH CHOSE THE ARABIC LANGUAGE TO CARRY HIS FINAL MESSAGE TO ALL MANKINDThe Qur’an contains the exact words which Allah revealed to our beloved prophet-pbuh and the exact words which the Prophet recited. Nothing added or deleted. The “Qur’an” is NOT the “Qur’an” if it is not in the Arabic Language; otherwise it is a mere translation. As a Muslims we are obligated to recite the Qur’an in Arabic EVERY SINGLE DAY.Our SALAAH is in the Arabic Language. We cannot have khushoo and khuzoo in our Salaah until and unless we understand what we are saying in our Salaah. The Language of the Qur’an is a Miracle.THAT MIRACLE will never touch our hearts unless we learn and know the Language of the Qur’an. How can the Qur’an guide me and how can I ponder over it and implement the Guidance of the Qur’an in my daily life if I do not understand the Language of the Qur’an! This ARABIC LANGUAGE COURSE will provide you the knowledge to understand the Qur’an in its ORIGINAL MATN (original Arabic Text). Our first priority in this course will be to understand the Language of the Qur’an and then InshaAllah the speaking part of it will come gradually. Please remember if you are dedicated, serious and hardworking, you will achieve something most beautiful and rewarding in your life (i.e. the understanding of the Qur’an directly when you recite it or when the recitation is heard). The beauty, the Eloquence, the Miracle and the Divine Wisdom of the Qur’an will penetrate the innermost depth of your heart and you will experience the joy and happiness which cannot be expressed but can only be felt in the Believer’s Heart. So get ready to work hard to learn the Language of the Qur’an.

The Salafi Da'wah is that of the Qur'an and the Sunnah. It is the Religion of Islam - pure and free from any additions, deletions or alterations. It is to adhere to the Path of the Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and of the True Believers (as-Salaf us-Salih). As-Salaf is a collective term referring to the Pious Pioneers in Islam and all those who follow in their footsteps in belief, actions and morals.
Allah has said (what means): Whoever contends with and contradicts the Messenger after guidance has been clearly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that of the Faithful Believers, We shall leave him in the Path he has chosen and land him in Hell, what an evil destination! [An Nisa 4:115].
Shaikh ul-lslam ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) commented on this ayah: "All who contradict and oppose the Messenger (S), after the right path has been clearly shown to them, have followed other than the Path of the Believers. And all who follow other than the Path of the Believers have contradicted and opposed the Messenger (S). If one thinks that he is mistaken in following the Path of the Faithful Believers, he is in the same position as one who thinks that he is mistaken in following the Messenger (S)."
